At Lunar Media, we love having the privilege to capture love stories, and each one holds a special place in our hearts. Recently, we had the honor of filming a truly remarkable wedding that took place at Bailey Barns Venue, nestled in the picturesque countryside just Northwest of Fairmont, West Virginia.

We couldn't have asked for a more stunning setting to film the precious moments of Lauren and Nate's special day. The Wedding ceremony took place outside near the back wood-line of the venue which gave a stunning backdrop as the couple said their “I do’s”.

Working alongside the talented photographer, Allison Glotfelty (@allisonjoyphotography), was a true delight. Her keen eye for detail and ability to seize the perfect shot harmonized effortlessly with our approach, ensuring that every moment was beautifully preserved in both photographs and film. Together, we made a dynamic team, finding multiple spots on property to capture the perfect shots.
As the day unfolded, it became evident that Lauren and Nate's love story was one of genuine affection and unwavering commitment along with their mutual love of God. From the emotional first look as Lauren came down the aisle to the send-off through the tunnel of sparklers, their love radiated throughout the entire day. As they read their vows to each other before the reception, there was no doubt that the two were made for each other.

As speeches were made and cake was cut, the sun was beginning to set. Allison and I could not resist getting some golden our shots with the newly married couple. While the attendees were dancing and playing cornhole, we went to the top of the hill where the sun was just peaking over. As I filmed and watched the clips roll out on the LCD of my camera screen, I knew this would turn out to be one of my favorite parts of their wedding film.

After we came back to the reception, I noticed a distinct pair of sunglasses being passed around from guest to guest. The glasses read “N+L Est. 2023”, which gave the guest a unique way of remembering the day through photographs and gave me a good idea to use for their film.

We, at Lunar Media, are incredibly grateful to have been a part of their journey. As we crafted their wedding film, we couldn't help but be reminded of why we love what we do - preserving the essence of love and happiness in a way that allows couples to relive their special day time and time again.
